"The Boot Chronicle"

Classical Pen and Ink were rendered on illustration board, 
scanned at 350 DPI Gray scale using Adobe Photoshop.
Using Layers in Photoshop, RGB working Mode, settings of 
100 opaque and Darken as options,
Max used the paintbrush (wet edges) set at 70 transparent, and
Pencil set at 100 opaque. The noise filter was used for texture.
Converted to CMYK Tiff files, the book was produced using Quark Express.

The old man, Ned Blast sets down his story.

A young lad, led into piracy.

A vile cur, who does not fair too well by the end.

A treasure hidden in a mysterious island.

How the young Ned made his first fortune.

How an older Ned's story, reads like "Life on the Plank".

The brilliant escapes.
