An American living in England, Brian Rybolt is a popular
photographer serving the European media machine. A master
of black and white photography, he visited his former
American home town, Maxwell was honored to photograph
the admired photographer, but with an unusual painting
in mind. Light is the essence of both men's medium. The
artist chose to pose the stark shadow across the
photographers face to reveal the power of light common
to both men's disciplines.

It also reveals the compassionate streak of any artist,
whose art, must conscientiously, with commitment,
express their movement between, "the dark and light".
